19-years old Manisha Karmakar belongs to an upper middle class family in Kolkata. Her father is a head teacher and her mother is a housewife. She hasn’t taken any formal training in singing but has been singing since childhood. She feels that her exceptional voice will strike an emotional cord with both the jury and the viewers.
Manisha’s favourite singers include Asha Bhonsle and Kishore Kumar. Manisha’s claim to fame is her win in one of the reality shows. Since then her life completely changed and today she makes a good living through various stage shows.
